Catherine Saks began her 38-year career in the art world when she and her husband, Mikkel, opened their first art gallery, in 1977 in downtown Denver. Specializing in representational and Western art, the gallery was the starting point of many prominent collections that continue to evolve today. Decades later, Catherine still finds great satisfaction in bringing together outstanding works of art and clients who appreciate the value of beauty in their lives. She has hosted and judged many plein air competitions over the years. Catherine is also a passionate animal lover. Hosting many events in the gallery to benefit animals such as the Bow Wow Benefit.
