12th Annual PleinAir Salon Art Competition February 2023 Best Plein Air Watercolor & Gouache Winner Barbara Tapp This is Garapata

When you are a winner of any PleinAir Salon Online Art Competition category in the monthly, or annual competition, we highly recommend you use that win for publicity opportunities. This could lend you additional credibility and help you sell more art.

Suggestions:

  1. Add your win to your CV or resume.
    • Example: Winner, Nocturne Category, April 2023 PleinAir Salon from PleinAir® Magazine
    • Example: Grand Prize Winner, Annual PleinAir Salon from PleinAir Magazine (won cover of PleinAir and $15,000 cash)
  2. Add to your website as a highlighted area at the top, and leave it up for all to see. You’ll often see “as seen in Forbes and The New York Times.” Why not “Winner, PleinAir Salon Art Competition from PleinAir Magazine”?
  3. If you’re mentioned in an editorial article, include a link to that too!
  4. Issue a press release to your mailing list and select galleries and collectors (we provide it)
  5. Put it on your business cards and flyers
  6. Add it to your e-mail signature
  7. Put in your ads and all marketing
  8. Print and frame your certificate and hang it in your studio or gallery. Even better if you can hang it next to the painting!
  9. Share on social media and tag us
    1. Instagram: @pleinairsalon and @pleinairmag
    2. Facebook: @PleinAirSalon and @pleinairmagazine
    3. #pleinairsalon, #pleinairmag, #artcompetition

The key is to use your win wherever and whenever possible. You can use it forever, and it will lend credibility forever.
