Congratulations on winning in the July PleinAir Salon Art Competition!

There were 925 paintings entered into the July Competition by 351 artists from 20 countries.

Here are a few things you need to know!

Where to see your painting

Your painting is included in the permanent winner archives on PleinAirSalon.com HERE.

There will be a showcase of the July Winners in the Oct/Nov issue of PleinAir Magazine. You will receive two complimentary issues by mail when the magazine releases on October 1st. (Please allow up to 2 weeks past the release date for shipping).

Cash Prizes

There are two ways in which to receive your cash prize. The standard method is via check, and this takes 4-6 weeks (longer if you’re in Canada). If you’d prefer a direct deposit, please download this FORM, and email it to [email protected].

For international artists, please reply to your announcement email and provide a PayPal address.

Editorial Coverage

Each winner is eligible for editorial coverage in any one of our e-newsletters. To be considered, please fill out this brief questionnaire. This needs to be filled out by September 7th. 

Promote your Award

You received an announcement email with a Google Drive link to assets you can use to promote your artwork. When you share, please tag us on Facebook and Instagram. This will allow us to see your post and share to our page or story. If you have an Instagram account, we will collaborate with you when we share your winning piece on our page. This request will come to your Instagram direct messages. You’ll have to review and then accept it. Then, the post will show up on both your Instagram feed and ours!

Annual Competition 

As a monthly winner, your painting is now entered into the Annual PleinAir Salon Art Competition. The winners from all 12 monthly competitions will be judged by a new panel of judges. We will announce the Top 25 Finalists in April 2024. We encourage these finalists to attend the Plein Air Convention & Expo so they can be present when the awards are announced live on stage during the Opening Ceremonies. The awards will take place in Cherokee, NC on May 20th, 2024.

Since your painting has won, it is NOT eligible to be re-entered in future competitions until after the Annual Awards.
