When you are a winner of any Salon Art Prize category in the monthly, or annual competition, we highly recommend you use that win for publicity opportunities. This could lend you additional credibility and help you sell more art.
Suggestions:
- Add your win to your CV or resume.
- Example: Winner, Nocturne Category, April 2026 Salon Art Prize from PleinAir® Magazine and Fine Art Connoisseur
- Example: PleinAir Grand Prize Winner, Annual Salon Art Prize from PleinAir and Fine Art Connoisseur Magazines (won cover of PleinAir and $15,000 cash)
- Add to your website as a highlighted area at the top, and leave it up for all to see. You’ll often see “as seen in Forbes and The New York Times.” Why not “Winner, Salon Art Prize from PleinAir & Final Art Connoisseur Magazines”?
- If you’re mentioned in an editorial article, include a link to that too!
- Issue a press release to your mailing list and select galleries and collectors (we provide it)
- Put it on your business cards and flyers
- Add it to your e-mail signature
- Put in your ads and all marketing
- Print and frame your certificate and hang it in your studio or gallery. Even better if you can hang it next to the painting!
- Share on social media and tag us
- Instagram: @pleinairsalon and @pleinairmag
- Facebook: @PleinAirSalon and @pleinairmagazine
- #pleinairsalon, #pleinairmag, #artcompetition
The key is to use your win wherever and whenever possible. You can use it forever, and it will lend credibility forever.
